WHO IS A GENIUS? The definition of the word ‘ genius ’ is gradually changing today, due to insight discoveries. We use to think that a genius is someone who has a very high intelligence Quotient (IQ), good memory and other attributes. But today, that has changed. I would rather define a genius as a man with would rather define a genius as a man with unmatchable drive for accomplishments, one who is not easily deterred by obstacles. A restless and persistent man, who is determined to reach his goal at all cost. Most people who are regarded as genius today are know for such massive drive. Talk about Thomas Edison who invented the electric bulb for instance, he was asked how many times he failed, he said, “I never failed once, I only learnt how many ways it cannot be done. “ That is a genius! I know that any student who sees this topic may be tempted to ask, why will I be asking such a question, when I should be aware that our wishes and aspirations in life is all about success?’ Yes! Everybody wants to succeed some want to succeed in business and marriage, others want success in their jobs, career and other endeavours of life. While every student desires or wishes to attain academic excellence, no one wants to fail or identify with failure. But let me quickly say this, success does not come by wishing. As a student, there are principles you must apply to get the success you so desire, these principles cannot be manipulated.
