Being A GENIUS - What it takes!

WHO IS A GENIUS? The definition of the word ‘ genius ’ is gradually changing today, due to insight discoveries. We use to think that a genius is someone who has a very high intelligence Quotient (IQ), good memory and other attributes. But today, that has changed. I would rather define a genius as a man with would rather define a genius as a man with unmatchable drive for accomplishments, one who is not easily deterred by obstacles. A restless and persistent man, who is determined to reach his goal at all cost. Most people who are regarded as genius today are know for such massive drive. Talk about Thomas Edison who invented the electric bulb for instance, he was asked how many times he failed, he said, “I never failed once, I only learnt how many ways it cannot be done. “ That is a genius! One who refuses to stop attempting or give up or take ‘no’ for an answer. In my own opinion, the greatest failure in life is the failure to make attempts, especially when one is requi

SUCCESS AND FAILURE

(SUCCESS AND FAILURE)  CHOOSE ONE! I know that any student who sees this topic may be tempted to ask, why will I be asking such a question, when I should be aware that our wishes and aspirations in life is all about success?’ Yes! Everybody wants to succeed some want to succeed in business and marriage, others want success in their jobs, career and other endeavours of life. While every student desires or wishes to attain academic excellence, no one wants to fail or identify with failure. But let me quickly say this, success does not come by wishing. As a student, there are principles you must apply to get the success you so desire, these principles cannot be manipulated. If you apply them, you are sure to get success and if you neglect them, it may be difficult to get the success you so desire. I know that another reader may be tempted to ask again, ‘Why should I be emphasizing failure when God has told us in His word that we shall be the head and not the tail? Which m

Benefits of being Focused and Commited

Be concentrated and intensify your effort. Achieving excellence in your responsibility and dream will lead you to your destiny. Commitment and hard work are the key that opens your desired destiny John Mason admonished: “Opportunity is all around you. What matters is where you put your focus. Ask yourself this question every day: “Where should my focus be:?” where you focus your attention, you create strength and momentum. Bring all your idea, energy and concentration together and focus them on one point to get the result. You can be resilient and positively aggressive. Aim from good, better to best. Masturbation -good or bad?...a Christian perspective

The purpose of this page is to explain why masturbation can be detrimental to life and to encourage people to abandon the practice.  Granted, masturbation may bring temporary pleasure, but it often comes with the long-term cost of addiction and other sexual problems.  Because many people reading this page are not Christians, I've created a separate section for the spiritually-based points.  If you are a Christian, I encourage you to take a moment to ask God to show you the truth concerning masturbation.  Non-spiritual points about masturbation 1. Masturbation is addictive!  I encourage anyone who doubts masturbation is addictive to see how many weeks or months they can go without masturbating.  We know now that sexual addictions are in fact self-induced drug addictions. The chemicals our bodies release during sexual arousal create the same effect on the brain as drugs.  Repeated masturbation reinforces a brain chemistry loop of addiction. (ref: Exposing Po

MARK OF THE BEAST

The POPE of Rome will be considered as a man of peace, therefore he will be asked to become THE WORLD’S PRESIDENT. By the time this is going-on, the RAPTURE will strike as the POPE will leave ROME to go and sit in that temple which will be rebuilt in Jerusalem. We are looking at “THE MARK OF THE BEAST”. The bible says that it shall be given at the FOREHEAD or on the RIGHT-HAND. I also said earlier that this mark of the beast is not “666” as thought in so many churches today but that “666” written in the bible is only there for us to it as a way of identifying who this ANTI-CHRIST actually is because nobody would come to write “666” on either at your forehead or on your right-hand. The mark of the beast only has to do with an UNDERSTANDING. When the bible says on the forehead, it means that there will be a group of people who will have a certain understanding in their way of reasoning or thought. While when the bible says on the right-hand, it means that as a result of thos

WISDOM AND ITS REWARDS

THE 12 REWARDS OF WISDOM   Wisdom is the Master Key to All The Treasures of Life. “And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou has not asked riches, wealth, or honour, or the life of thine enemies, neither yet has asked long life; Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, Such as none of the kings have had that have been before” (1 Chronicles 1:7, 10a, 11a, 12a).    “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:2,3). The Fear of God is the Beginning of Wisdom. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10.      “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:” (Psalm 111:10).    “And unto man He said, “Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding”. (Job 28:28). Wisdom is More P

Steps on how to give an effective presentation

This page draws on published advice from expert presenters around the world, which will help to take your presentations from merely ‘good’ to ‘great’. By bringing together advice from a wide range of people, the aim is to cover a whole range of areas. Whether you are an experienced presenter, or just starting out, there should be ideas here to help you to improve. 1. Show your Passion and Connect with your Audience It’s hard to be relaxed and be yourself when you’re nervous. But time and again, the great presenters say that the most important thing is to connect with your audience, and the best way to do that is to let your passion for the subject shine through. Be honest with the audience about what is important to you and why it matters. Be enthusiastic and honest, and the audience will respond. 2. Focus on your Audience’s Needs Your presentation needs to be built around what your audience is going to get out of the presentation. As you prepare the presentation, you
